This ain’t for the faint hearted because I know, even though this is a brand new motor I have voided any form of warranty. Had to replace satellite on/off switch and wire, fit new lower gen2 battery mount, new gen2 battery. My existing charge port, display and mode switch was already compatible. Had to take about 2mm of the rear lower right motor mounting casting because it’s slightly wider than ep8. It would not fit into the frame otherwise due to fowling slightly on a threaded lug used for securing bash guard, hence warranty out of the window. The factory motor was not configured in any way to my bike. Madison was most probably not going to help according to my Lbs. I got round this by contacting the guys at e-max who I have got to say are brilliant! It is now all configured and running sweet. Still got the original motor if things go pear shaped, or I might buy a spare 🤔
