Well I've had fun trying to get the steel ring out so I can replace the bearings!
Just put the tool in the vice, slot the wheel onto it and turn anticlockwise is the internet method.
Not an F ING chance of me getting enough purchase on the wheel too undo it.
So I resorted to plan B and got the proper equipment out
All done now, but I thought it might be easier to just fit a new hub
