They certainly look good, though not exactly an economy option! Have you bought them outright, or are they just a long term loan for review?

Great video. That looks one awesome fork and is now going on my wanted list. though i need to see how it compares to a fox 36.

Did the DT Swiss guys say anything about servicing? Some years ago the DT Swiss forks I came across were mostly lightweight XC forks that needed a lot of servicing, making them interesting for anyone with their own service team. I expect that has changed.

You mention good midstroke support and the fork ramping up a lot for the last few % of travel. Did you try reducing air pressure?

My expectations weren't very high when I heard DT was introducing the F535, but it does look very interesting! Was the coil spring just 8mm long?

This fork is starting to get some pretty positive long term reviews now that some of the magazines have had it for a while, most of them seem to back up DT's claim that the app is super accurate for setting up, and that you really only need to set it up first time then not play with it again. Singletrack have put 5 months on one, and really rate it, the review is behind a paywall though.

Apparently it needs servicing annually/every 200 hours - TF Tuned are i think the main UK service centre for DT Swiss?

Price wise its inline with a top end RS or Fox, and good to see some other options out there.

I love the integrated look on it, and it looks like the included mudguard protects the seal unlike the Syncros one for the fox forks.

Nice, but so expensive for us mear mortals. It costs nearly half of what I paid for my bike. I admit I bought the cheapest full suss that Haibike do but even so.
I would love to know how much it actually costs to make these toys of ours. I appreciate there are R&D and tooling costs to recuperate.
I'm saving my pennies towards my next bike which I'll probably get in 2020.
I would also love to ride my bike, then jump straight on Robs bike (i wouldn't fit on it being a short arsethough) to see if I could tell the difference being a noob at this high tech stuff.
Regards.

Looks good another high decent player in the market has to be good to get prices down and quality up .dt Swiss is always good stuff

I agree Markymark bicycle prices are crazy , you can buy a mid size high quality motorcycle for similar price to a high end ebike , or ordinary bike for that matter . And get decent warranty backup and even recovery and loan bike as part of the warranty .
Suspension seems to be the biggest factor increasing prices on the high end bikes .

I've posted a pic elsewhere in the forum of my 2001 Rockhopper Comp and I think that was around £700 back then.
I remember walking out the shop with it thinking 'How much have I just spent? On a bike!' Lol.

Yes I saw that , i had a similar priced Cannondale back , like how much ?
I think to be fair the under a grand sector of the market has maybe got better , you now get more for your money In that price range , but for 2k now it’s still bottom end or close whereas 2k 10 years ago got close to top spec , although top spec suspension back then wasn’t what it is now
