Hi
I am looking to fit a dropper seat post on my wife's Cube Access 15". I will probably get the Brand X 125mm extension 30.9 which looks to give the right range of saddle position for her. This is the external cable version. Anyone any good ideas how you run the remote cable externally? Don't fancy using tape or zip ties!! There must be a better way! I am not prepared to go the internal cable route because there does not seem to be any simple solutions for that.

I’ve just fitted an internal dropper to my wife’s Access. It was OK to be honest. I fed the cable up from below but first down from battery “cavity” on the chain side. Remove the rubbery wrap-around cover and you can shunt the cable up inch by inch.

Super easy in the end...I just used 3 cable clips...thr type that stick on the frame using a 3m backing. Clean the area under each clil thoroughly with isopropyl and after sticking the cable ties in the appropriate positions, leave the 3m stick on backing 24 hours to fully activate before running the cable in them. They will then not fall off.
