The cable on my KS Lev Integra is sticking making the dropper initially hard to operate and then not closing the valve fully meaning it drops again as soon as I put weight on it.

Is it OK to lube the cable?

What should I use as lube?

What's the best way to apply it?

No idea of the correct/best method, but perhaps put some dry lube inside of a balloon, cable tie the balloon around the outer cable, suspend the cable allowing the lube to drain down the inner cable.

Best just to fit a new cable inner on those and lube it well while fitting It uses a standard gear cable so for under 2 quid it’s sorted they seem to be quite hard on cables ,
Be careful not to lose the little screw on nipple on the seat end .

The most simple, most obvious, and most practical solution.

Also ensure that you are pulling the cable at the lever end through when re-inserting the seatpost as the cable can twist/kink/get trapped when re-inserting

Jagwire do a polished pre stretched stainless inner cable. It’s a bit pricey compared to others but is rather good.....
I’d stay away from the Teflon coated cables for droppers as the plastic coating seems to get torn up by dropper post levers and can cause additional sticking.

Agree with the Teflon coated
The best cable we’ve had so far has been Fibrax The inners are put through rollers in oil to pre stretch and they are only a few quid , check out on the web because thier prices were very low for the spec , I can’t describe it fully , they also sell on eBay
