Can you imagine if the new trek rail 2026 will have the dji avinox and battery?
It would be much more streamlined and lighter than the current bosch.

I would really like it and would buy it immediately, the software side is light years ahead of the bosch that struggles so much.

Would you like it?

It would be 500g lighter. That's nothing...but I wouldn't buy anything with DJI on it anyway 😂

Why not? Proven manufacturers are dipping their toes into the eMTB market. Those new customers will be the support and test monkeys that a manufacturer needs.

We’ll likely benefit. Technology and price will become competitive. If we are not satisfied with the current product …we’ll move onto the next.

I’ve been in the Hand-Held-Power-Tool market for many years. After years I gravitated towards Milwaukee. Bosch didn’t cut it for me, at that time. DJI could be a proven player in the future.

The motor game is one of incremental improvements.

I'm waiting for bikes with new gen solid state batteries thereby saving a bunch of kg.

When I see well specced full fat (alloy preferably) bikes weighing less than 22kg with solid state 600Wh+ batteries I'll open my wallet.

Until then, nope. 😴

And as for Spesh bikes priced at north of £12k they can do one. 😆

I’d be embarrassed to say what my investment is on my old 2020 Rail (which I got in 2019). It’s priced out of the used emtb market. I’m not willing to take that kinda hit for very little benefit …I mean things that are of no interest to me, but are to others.

But saying that, I purchased the 2024 Fuel EXE AXS FS for other reasons. I still don’t use, or need, all the digital information that is available…but it’s available.
