Does your E8000 motor sound noisier than when new?

I've used my bike on about a dozen easy outings where I have not pushed hard and have had no tumble. Never pressure washed the bike either.
On my last outing I got the impression the motor was a bit noisier than it used to. Anyone getting the same impression?

I find mine sounds noisier when I am trying to sneak past folk that are having to work for a living!
Brose is definitely a more stealthy unit.

Might be but it depends if I turn my hearing aids up!
