Do you use the spacer??

I often transport our e bikes with the front wheels removed, but i don’t use the spacer that goes between the brake pads to fill the disc space whilst wheel isn’t fitted. I was told when I bought mine that I should use the spacer to stop the chance of the pistons being popped out the calliper accidentally.

Today I found the spacers, which reminded me of this, so have loaded the bikes and used the spacers for the first time.

Yes, as soon as a wheel is removed, even just for cleaning, the spacer goes in the calliper. Habit

The Magura spacers are quite handy, like a little tool, can use them for pushing back pistons, clamping hoses and other uses I haven’t quite sussed out yet!
