I just put an order in for a Gen 2 Trek Rail 7. Hopefully, this thread doesn’t make me regret my decision. I saw some of the Specialized Levo’s were getting heavily discounted but also heard mixed reviews on longevity. The Gen 2 Rails are discounted but it’s sort of a waiting game too with the recession. I decided to forgo the wait and jump in.

i jumped on this sale last October. I’ve been overseas (getting by on a city bike Brompton) and can’t wait to break this beauty out of 70% hibernation charge and onto some trails.

Feeling slightly suspicious of this, they listed the forks as lyrik but they are clearly Zeb ultimate, and that frame is the vrs model which contradicts the title and also the Zeb ultimate doesn't come on the vrs could be an upgrade but still

Weird, they've got it on Ebay for £150 more.

It's a bit poverty spec in the scheme of things. 500 watt battery, Tektro brales, Suntour fork.

I wonder if Tredz know this guy is using their name?? His selling history is all low cost trinketts!! I would not take this as a genuine seller and his company name suggests he sells Hot Tubs!!

A few have sold like this over last few weeks.

All been cycle to work scheme bikes when I enquired.

Most had a buy it now price of £3500.

Just bought one of these and seems good value. Wouldn‘t have bought at original price…

Even with a sale I am never gonna buy wireless tbh
Must admit, that was my view but then I started having shifting issues which I couldn’t resolve. Fit the AXS and it works beautifully. Early days yet but lots of people reporting faultless performance even in the harshest of conditions.

Yeah I get that , especially with hidden cables I can imagine it might be quite nice😂
I just don't like the stress of having to remember to charge my shifter
