Tried them out today in front brake. Was pretty warm (~28C) and very dusty on the South Downs Way near Bignor Hill (West Sussex). The Discobrakes semi-metallic pads were noisy as hell, really pissed me orf. Got home, took them out, cleaned the rotor and put my old Shimano D03S pads back in. Bedded them in ... and silence with a nicer bite point
