Di2 on an EP8 motor ?

Hello out there, I have a Levo with Shimano Di2 11 speed electronic shifting. It has a System Information Display SC-MT800, which briefly shows which gear you have selected. I am considering a Shimano EP8 motored bike which will have SC-EM800 Information Display on it.
My question is will I be able to use Di2 on a EP8 bike and what information display will work. The wires look the same. Any knowledge out there please ?

Yes you can, though the ability to show the full information on the display may need to be set up by a bike shop with the correct Shimano software tools IIRC
