More really directed at bearingman though anyone with thought and knowledge, be nice to hear.
So 'tuning' is effectively preventing people from opening the system and tampering with it, which i suppose might also mean opening the system and replacing moving parts like bearings.
So if this is done, is there anything in the motors programming that would 'flip' some internal sensor and mean the motor needs reset/replaced etc etc.
Or is it ok to do that, and its just if you add a tuning* device to bypass the speed regulation.
*I have no intention to do such, but to keep things in good condition a service would be required at some point and i dont want to pay for that to be done(with B/M) only to find upon receiving it back that its stopped functioning.
From other threads/forums i can see that this part of the terms and conditions can mean that you could be forced to replace one motor needing repair, with a brand new motor, rather than having the repair carried out by some competent mechanic.
If that is the case I would be rightly upset about it. Kind of an underhand practise.
