Hi all, I wonder if anyone has successfully derestricted a Giant with a Shimano Motor (EP8 for example)? I am thinking of the 'normal' way : Connect via BT using ETube App or via SM-PCE02 , Downgrade FW, derestrict (or change country to US) with STUnlocker , Update FW.
Or is derestricting (or change country to US) not possible at all with Giant, cause they use their own FW and the motor will automatically go into limp mode when unauthorized software is detected?
