Evening all, a couple of days ago I went for a ride down the bridleways nearly and spent over an hour pulling crap out of my mech when I got back.
Today I went out again in the opposite direction and the bridleways are all the same that way - unused, with 5ft nettles/thistles throughout. They often tend to end at a field boundary as well even though they’re marked on the os map.
I spent an hour cleaning cow shit off everything today after having to detour through a cow farm!
Does anyone know if there are any maintained bridleway/off road cycle routes in the area south of Northallerton and down to Thirsk (or east/west of there). I know there’s some great riding to be had at Sutton Bank but I‘d prefer not to have to drive out if I can help it.
