Data recording inaccurate

I am not sure if data is recording accurately on amflow . I cycle these routes all time. On my Bosch bike av cadence for example is about 80. On the amflow says 35- can’t be right. See data from my other bike. Also average power 78 W on Bosch - on amflow 38 W. See diagrams- one is from my flow app for Bosch - other is amflow. Had amflow only 1 day. May be sensors not recording accurately ?

It looks like you're comparing different applications ??? So they'll record and present the data differently.

The second one you've shown is set to "cyclist" - ie, you and showing YOUR average input during the ride as 38w.

The first one is, at a guess, showing an estimation of you and the bikes power combined over the duration of the ride.

Oh yes. Just realised. But why is average cadence so low on amflow. ?

I would guess that since it is set to Cyclist...rather than total...........it discounts any cadence where the rider power is less than the motor power contribution. It is clearly not merely counting crank revolutions. 125 also seems incredibly high possibly for the reverse of the rationale I just outlined.

Even when you change to whole stays same. Yes 125 sounds way too as well.

When you stop pedalling I think the amflow still records so if you're coasting down a trail without pealing it's adding those no revolutions to the overall average.

Mines the same, it even says my Max heart is 230bpm, if it was I'd be dead. I don't even bother checking amflow anymore due to how inaccurate it is. Distance travel is off by quite a bit as well. I just use garmin for my stat's. If you want cadence and speed buy there cadence, speed sensor pack. I don't bother with cadence but I have the speed sensor on my front wheel and it's more realistic to distance travelled.

Thanks that makes sense. I also have Garmin on bike as well. I take the distances from that. The amflow does not record full distance if you stop - splits ride.

The data recording on Avinox completely wrong. Do not rely on it . I went on same ride with friend. He has Bosch motor. Av cadence on his bike 77/ amflow 36/. Av speed on Bosch 12mph / amflow 7.7 mph.
Best advice ignore data on Avinox . Use something else. I use Garmin as well. Very good.
