I’m surprised to see that every 2020 full sus cube with travel greater than 120mm is carbon.
The weight saving seems very small at 3%
So my question is why are there no aluminium options on anything but the entry level 120 stereo?

Probably cost and simplicity ? They'd still like to differentiate between entry level and top spec, so aluminium compared to carbon - whatever the merits or not either way.

Keeps it simpler and cheaper for them to just make all the higher spec bikes with carbon frames rather than having two very similarly kitted out bikes, but with two types of frame to make/stock with overlapping price points - which possibly cost them the same to make anyway maybe ? (presumably the relative production cost of the two as numbers increase become closer ? - ie the carbon ones reduce per unit if you can make more if only to cover your €100,000+ mold costs for the range)

Maybe.... That's what the cat said anyway.
