Creaky fork

Had my giant E2 pro since April 2019. It's now developed a slight creak coming from the front fork and was wondering if anyone else had experienced this. It's a running fox 34 rythem.

I did spend quite a bit of time isolating it and occurs when just pressing down on the bars a creak occurs from the fork.

Are you sure it’s the fork and not the headset? I’d be prepared to bet anything up to five pounds it’s the headset that’s creaking.
If you haven’t already it’s probably time to strip the front end down, inspect the headset bearings, give the whole area a good clean and re-grease them, or replace them if they’re corroded.

I had the same issue and it was the head set. I replaced with Cane Creek and have no issues since and they don’t loosen up like before either. Although my bike has the Rhythm 36.

Thanks you two. You were both right, it's the headset. It's due a service tbh and need a few things needing a look at.
Also...it was the fox 36 and not 34.....getting confused with my other bike.
