Cracked Haibike XDURO Trekking 4.0 Frame, what’s up with that???

Hi from Seattle Washington,
I discovered that my 2017 Haibike XDURO 4.0, 64cm high-step had a crack at the weld on the seat stay. The bike was purchased 01 Aug. 2018, with only 2,275 miles on the odometer, I have also noticed 6 stress fractures, on the rear rim, at the nipple. Is this a knowN issue with Haibike and it‘s components? I just submitted a claim with Haibike and I hope they stand by their lifetime warranty on the frame. I’m 249lbs. (108Kg.) and I don’t believe that I over stress the frame on my daily commute to and fro to the office.
