A friend's cousin's neighbour who works at the secret London location of Mi5 says that that the virus was caused by bats being infected by 5G signals being transmitted by the Kremlin, so should I switch my phone to plane mode to avoid catching the virus through my wifi?

You should be ok. Most home routers still only run 100mb rj45 connections with cat 5 cables. These are too slow for the virus to traverse a 2m network cable. It's like leaping 50 meters in biological terms.

Some owners with newer hardware running 1000mb connections and cat 6 cables are more at risk of being infected.

Anyone with a device with slower than normal internet should consider their device infected and liable to spread the virus into biological form, normally when the device is used for pornography and the user is at their most exposed.

A device can be disinfected with a bucket of boiling water with 1kg of sugar and 300ml of washing up liquid.

2.4ghz and 5 GHz WiFi signals are generally not fast enough to host the virus, though the virus has been seen to drop out onto surfaces within 1m of routers. Current advice is to use a flame thrower to thoroughly disinfect the area at least once a day.

DO NOT USE AIRPLANE MODE. That's actually the signal that triggers airplanes to produce chemtrails, which is what originally caused the bat population to grown uncontrolled for so many years.
