Hi guys, I'm looking for help on what spring I would require as I've been getting a variety of answers when speaking with different suspension specialists.
My total weight including riding gear is around 107-108kg
Bike weight 26kg

The shock is a Fox Van performance with 170mm travel and a 65mm shock stroke. Ive never ridden with a coil shock before and I've noticed today that with a 550lb spring which was recommended to me from the results of an advanced calculator, it was bottoming out on just a rocky downhill section of trail. No big jumps, no big drops etc etc.
The rubber bump stop was right up the top of the rod and every now and then I could feel it bottoming out.
After ringing a few places I've had feedback saying I should try springs ranging from 500lb from online calculators to a few places telling me by telephone that I need 550-650lb.

I'm looking for a plush sag setup of 30% and reall don't know which spring I should go for.

What would your thoughts be on a spring for my riding weight and hitting drops no bigger than 3-4ft at trail centres.

If you know Cwmcarn trail centre in South Wales, I was bottoming out on caffal which is a red trail with no big features .

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou
