Hi Guys.

I've tried asking Chicksands my questions directly but my repeated emails have gone unanswered.

From their website it is not clear what safety gear I need:

SAFETY EQUIPMENT
All Chicksands Bike Park riders must wear the minimum safety equipment of a cycle helmet meeting CE1078. We strongly recommend using a full face helmet and upper body armour in addition to full-finger gloves and knee/shin guards to provide an increased level of protection. If you do not have the right safety equipment you cannot ride in the park.

In this context, does 'right' simply mean a basic helmet or full face/body armour etc??

I am really keen to get out of my comfort zone and go and try some of their trails but I currently only have a normal lid - does that mean I won't be able to ride?

I would be happy to go and buy a Giro Switchblade but can I find one in stock in black (medium). er, no. So for now I would like to just use my normal lid but I don't know if I will be allowed to ride.

Thanks

Thanks Dsc. I think every Youtube clip of Chicksands I've seen they were wearing full-face so just wanted to check so that I didn't get turned away.
