Howdy everyone. Long time rider, first time e-Biker from nw Alberta, Canada. I’m a week into ownership of an XL Trek Rail 9.7, and I’m having as much fun as I read that I would.

‘Ive attached a couple of shots taken over the past few days. No major trail rides yet, but will be in the mountains with it next weekend. I’ve included one perspective shot with the XL Rail up against my XXL 2011 stumpy. I see now what the phrase ‘modern geometry’ refers to.

My arthritic knees are singing from overuse this week, but they’ll loosen up a bit, I’m sure. I’ve probably got more miles on this week than I did in an average month last summer. This tech is going to keep me riding longer than I thought I would, and I’m grateful.

Look forward to learning and sharing in the forums...

Stay well

Congratulations, that's a sharp looking bike. I have been away from the sport and am trying to acclimate to the new geometry as well. Feels to me like I need to weight the front end more in corners, but overall really enjoying it.

Thanks.

I flipped the Mino link to the high setting today, just to try it out. I did not do a big ride, but I did notice the difference on the front end.

I want to try both settings over the next couple of weeks on the trails. I was surprised by the different feel just riding around the neighbourhood.
