Charger EC-E6002 surface temperatur

Hello to all Shimano BT-E8010 battery users. I have a question for you if you are using the EC-E6002 charger, I get the feeling that the charger get (to) hot, I know its just a «feeling». Temperature is equal all over the charger and I can hold it/lift if, but it might be close to 45-50 C / 113-122F.

Is it just me and fear of fire hazards or?……..thanks and best regards, Ghost Rider

Yeah, mine is the same. I charge mine on the kitchen work surface. I dont think its a huge risk but not sure I'd put it on the carpet.
