Charger 2.1 damper top cap (fine thread)

I have purchased a charger upgrade damper 2.1 RCT for my Revelation, Little did i realise that the top cap has 2 different threads. one being the old type fine thread and another one with a bigger pitch thread.
I tried to fit it but (obviously) couldn't but thought i had damaged the start of the thread so tried dressing the thread before i realised it was different.
I can't return it and wouldn't sell to an unsuspecting buyer as that's just not me.
SRAM don't do spares and simply wouldn't listen and i also approached a well known suspension specialists who couldn't help.
Does anyone have a top cap to fit a RCT 2,1 damper with the fine threads as a spare or redundant.
I will happily pay for it.

Im not sure i can help, but Ive thought about buying the upgrade damper for a new lyrik.
I keep seeing - for A1/B1, but my fork is C3, and for the life of me i cannot find out what exactly that refers to, So upon learning this info I've been very reluctant to purchase anything, at least until i know whats what.

Could that be the problem you have ?. Age of fork/age of damper ?. So if you have any info you can share as in what it says on the packaging. It might help me at least.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. When i ordered the part i fully believed i was ordering the correct part only to find the hard way it wasn't. Afterwards i found the app Trailhead which i downloaded which helps you set up your fork BUT also allows you to see what upgrades you can make together with the original part numbers.
You input your forks serial number which is on the backside of the forks crown and it gives you loads of info regarding the fork and its potential upgrades.
Had i known this then i would have realised that the part was wrong. Bit too late for me but try the app for your fork it may be helpful.

Done that and i see it now.
The TF Tuned site is selling the damper im looking for and has the. well save explaining it all out ...
Titled - "

RockShox Charger 2.1 RCT3 Damper Upgrade Kit for Lyrik B1+/Yari A1+ (2016+) - 00.4020.170.001​

So although its saying for lyrik B1+ and mine is C3, the part number at the end -= 00.4020.270.001 is the same as on the rockshox spec list set up guide for upgrade kits. So that confirms that maybe the B1+ means B1 through to whatever its currently at. Mine is brand new current so C3 must be its current 2021 model

Thanks for that. I certainly hope yoou get it sorted, its a lot to shell out for the wrong thing. But we've all been there i reckon at some point.
