So I tried to use the shifter that came with the Pro Race but I didn't like the ergonomics of it so I decided to put the other shifter from the e7000 series on. It was super simple and in my opinion works much better. The stock e7000 shifter has the cable built in so you need to buy the shifter and the cable. When you get both it's literally just unplugging the old one and using the tool that comes with it plugging it back in. I did update the firmware on the eSteps app also. You can also adjust the paddles in and out which I did after this pic was taken.

This is the shifter. You can search for a place to buy it as I'm sure that's not allowed here:
SW-M8050-R

You'll also need this cable in 300mm:
EW-SD50

At first I didn't like the shifters. After 6 or so rides I actually like them now. I like that it's easy to change if they don't feel comfortable for us.

Is the 300mn cable too long or just about right? I can’t stand excessive cable length! Thx
