changing back to 11 speed

hello i have orange phase ebike with e8000 motor with 12 speed chain ring think about going back to 11 speed. i have all the parts to do it but will 12 speed chain ring will it be problem can i use differant chain ring on e8000 spider cheers

You need the SM-CRE80-R chainring which is 11 speed. See page 53 on the Shimano steps catalogue.

No he doesn't.
The chainring he has will be absolutely fine with an 11spd chain.
