OK e Mofo's here's a challenge for you.
1000mtr of vert up/down in 1.5 hours.
That's 3333ft for the imperial types.

Oh,,,, one rule. You can't go down the same track twice. Got to choose a different track to go down each time. So its not just lapping out constantly the same efficient track. You have to keep smashing different tracks.

I got close today on this ride then thought of the 1000 in 1.5 challenge after this ride.

It will probably be easy for you dudes with big mountains. My bike park is maybe 70m vert. So its death my multiple ups and downs.

And.... go!

We did this a couple of years ago, only we did it in 1 hour. 1000m ascent/descent & you cannot ride the same trail twice

We managed 1030m, every climb was a Z5 heart rate effort & it was a wild bit of fun.

Time to do it again then..

I can see where 1hr 1000m might be possible with big steep grav climbs and fast downs.

My local is all tight single track. I am balls to the wall for that 1.5 hours.

Early days of the Kenevo.. I generally stop a lot and trail tidy, so most time/altitudes aren't that quick.

It's kinda fun looking back at past rides ..

This one fits within your time/altitude I think.

1000 meters/90 minutes is 11.11111 meters gained a minute (average with descents).

So my failed (due to physical fatigue) 5000m climb effort on the Jam2 also falls within your 1000m in 1.5 hours.

This is less than your 1000, but even with stopping and starting you can still get within the 90 minute/1000 barrier :

I think 1000m in 1 hour is do able with the right trails (steep) pretty sure I have some within that but it's a lot of searching to find one.

That’s a pretty decent challenge. Are we allowed to repeat climbs, or do they have to be unique too?

Ideally a different descent each time to keep it spicy. But do what you have available. Don't just lap out an easy lap to complete the challenge.
