Hi there,
1st post!
I've got a bent chainring on my 2023 Haibike Trekking4 Low in Grey (2023) with a Yamaha motor. However, I wondered if there were any after market chainrings available, as they are not cheap and there's a wait for them from HaiBike (who annoyingly will not supply the public)
Unfortunately, the nut that holds the chainring in place came loose. This is the 2nd time that it happened and whilst the first time was when it was under guarantee, the 2nd time was 3 weeks after the 12 months was up!
From reading up previous posts on this forum, it would appear that there is no simple/cheaper alternative, although, I have been told that unbending it is a workable solution.
I need something to tighten the chainring nut back up as well if I'm to do a temporary DIY repair.
Any, helpful/polite, comments welcome ;-)
Cheers
TK
