Chain Stay Rubber Coming Unstuck

Anyone found a way to keep the chain stay rubber protector stuck on at the edge nearest the chain ring? Both Decoys I have had it has come unstuck from the thin double sided tape that is factory fitted and I’ve tried different tape and Gorilla Glue (works pretty good - but can get messy).

I presume it gets loosened by the occasional chain wrap around, wrags and sponges from clean and mud and crap build up in that area.

Has anyone got a link to a decent, oversized neoprene chain stay protector that fits well? Ideally over the top of the rubber protector.

Make your own with a piece cut from an inner tube? Easy to do, the tube cuts with a decent pair of kitchen scissors. Secure with a few zip ties.

I’m having mine come off as well. Wrapping the leading edge with a zip tie sounds like a potential solution, thanks for that recommendation!
