Kenevo Gen1 Can I repair my m1 kenovo. Battery?

Hey everyone so I picked up a pretty battered gen 1 kenovo as a little project and the battery was missing the rubber button cover. Pulled it apart and corrosion on the buttons cob but rest of pack looks okay. Current pack voltage is down to 18v though so not sure it can be saved. Any ideas ? I spoke to one guy who said they can’t be repacked ?
