Bultaco Brinco battery connection

Hello everyone first post here.
I wonder if anyone can be of assistance?
I have owned my Brinco for many years and it has been a great bike.
Due to constant plugging and unplugging of the battery the connectors have worn out.
I have had the battery female plug changed.
Now I am trying to fix the male plug.
The male plug has worn out in many ways as is plastic.
Even one of the metal pins has eroded due presumably to arcing electric.
So it's not easy to find parts but I ordered a new plug and have been patiently waiting 10 weeks for it to arrive.
Alas the plug arrived and is not complete, it is just the housing with no pins.
I may be able to use my old pins, also the company (mouser electronics) is helping me to aquire said new pins.
Now before I attempt to do this I was wondering if anyone has done this job?
At the rear of the plug there is a 90° plastic part that must be glued to the plug and I will need to reuse this part so am anxious not to break it. Will I need a heat gun, does that part split into 2 parts and unclip?
How are the wires attached to the pins? Will I need to crimp or solder?
I'll include photos of the old and new plugs.
I basically don't know what to do next and am trying to be patient also I've no-one in my life to ask/help.

The pins will be crimped. Can’t help you with the other questions though, sorry.

That is what is commonly known as a Rosenberger plug. Look for info using that? While not a common connection it has been used on a number of eBikes over the years such as R&Mueller bikes.

I'm still hoping for a solution to the path I'm on.
For another path if you have a Brinco I've been told this;

"we usually replace those with the XT90 connector and rewire from the battery.

Parts aren’t really available anymore and the connectors we use are rated for the surge current negating the need for the relay.

Obviously all plugs need to be changed on battery bike and charger.

We use a waterproof gland for the wires to exit the battery and wire long enough so that when plugged in the connector can be hidden up into the frame."

So in the end I'm going with the alternate path, different connectors from original and having all the work done by Wylde Rides in Wales.
If you have this problem and need a solution there's your answer.
