Broken 2019 Levo Turbo

Hi, first post here but been a long time lurker!

I bought a 2019 comp carbon last October and, when it actually works, it has been the most fun I’ve had mountain biking. In January it needed a new switch as it refused to turn on, then last night, after the gentlest of washes with a sponge and sprinkler hose, it went a bit haywire.
I noticed when I switched it on a red and blue light briefly illuminating on the tcu. A test ride showed a jittery intermittent motor function, and only functioning in turbo mode no matter which mode was actually selected, then switching itself off after 10 seconds.
After attempting to restart and some fiddling with the battery connector it would restart but behaved the same way.
The motor even works in turbo mode when the walk button is pressed, as per link: which is pretty hilarious but highlights the potential danger of this failure. I removed the tcu and power cable and left them in the airing cupboard overnight but the problem is still there.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?

The other issue is that the bristol concept store where I purchased is currently closed. Do you think any specialised dealer should be able to help? I’m gutted as this was the only thing keeping me slightly sane at the moment, not to mention the fact that my 6 grand mountain bike is currently more use as a paper weight!

Sorry for the ramble, thanks for the help.

I bought a 2020 Comp new in March but built August 2019.Rang Specialized UK who confirmed mine didn't have the current cable but put a marker against my frame number for a replacement MK 3 version. As we are in lockdown and not wanting to get stranded rang them again and they posted it to me (lbs closed). Straightforward to install. Perhaps this is your problem? Check the plug attaching the cable to the motor for any signs of cracking. The new one is shorter and Specialized will presumably send a diagram of the routing although I had already seen it on this forum.

I had a different issue but I contacted Specalized rider support direct as the store where I purchased my bike was also closed, they sorted me out with exactly what I needed, it only took a week from my initial email to the part arriving which is pretty damn good given the current situation. Get in touch with them, I have had two experiences with their customer service and it has been spot on both times.

HI Paul,I had the same issue with mine in that it wouldn't turn on - the simple fix of sorts was to turn it on after a full charge, or bugger about with the input cover flap connector as you mentioned. It's pretty rare and I was told likely to be a TCU connector issue

The motor has since packed up so had to take it in to get that swapped out - the answer is Berkshire Cycles - can't fault their service - and they are open at the moment

Does anyone know where the current "Service Bulletins" are posted for Turbo Levo Comps (or other specialized bikes)? Would be nice to have a heads up on current issues BEFORE they become my issues :?)
