Brake Upgrade for Cube 140?

Hi All,

Looing to upgrade the HPC 140 SL that I have.

Currently have Shimano MT420 and looking to go to possibly Magura MT5 or Shimano XT?

Any other recommendations or can you point me in any other direction?

Also any rotor recommendations?

Looking to put the MT420 onto another bike in which I have so I will repurpose those.
