After reading/watching some video on the the patches which allegedly improve the performance of Bosch motors I'm still a little confused. They refer to GEN4 2020 motors only and one video says the patch will not be available until July. I've just been into my local dealer this morning, they seemed a little vague about the whole thing but despite this they have updated the software free of charge. I purchased my bike in 2019. It has a Bosch Performance Line CX motor (I have no idea if it's a GEN 1, 2, 3 or 4.) When I look at the software version it says:
Display Unit: V1.4.0.0
Drive Unit: V1.8.4.0
Bat: V1.9.1.0
Am I in receipt of the improved performance? I've been down the road on it but I'm not convinced that's valid test although it did feel a little more responsive. The Bosch site seems to suggest these are the latest software versions. Can anyone shed any light on this?
