Bosch purion/kiox/nyon retro fit upgrade

Hello all has anyone upgraded their purion to the nyon system? I am looking at doing this and wanting to no is it easy to retrofit or leave it to the professionals? also I have heard that later in may the new KIOX will be available to upgrade its software to support gps from my local retailer. Not sure if to wait or just go straight for the NYON.
