Bosch fast charger

Has anyone had experience with this?
I would like to do long rides while using EMTB mode.
The price of a spare battery is too much for me to swallow, but I've seen this fast changer for about £110, which is meant to get 50% charge in about an hour.
Is this a practical solution?

I'm pretty sure it's 50% from flat. The higher the starting state of charge, the less charge you'll get in an hour.

The 6A charger doesnt charge 50% faster than the 4A, that's not how it works. The bottleneck is the battery's capacity to absorb the charge. The 0-80% usually only takes little time (about an hour, even with the 4A), the problem is always the last 20%. So do your trip planning around that 0-80%

200g more for each step from 2A > 4A > 6A

The size of the 6A would bother me. I carry the 4A on some day/weekend rides, and it's bulky but not too bad. Wouldn't give up more space in my bag for 2A more...

I wouldn't expect it to charge 50% faster, Only 1/3rd faster (33.33%).
If it means the difference between carrying a 200 gram heavier charger, or a 2.8KG extra battery, I would go for the charger.
