Everywhere seems to say unavailable!

Presumably someone with the right electrical knowledge could build something similar, but I wouldn't have a clue ...

yea, it seems strange that a great idea like that would be left to disappear, Unless it had faults? because even a small amount of charge whilst driving is better than None at all imo

I have bought a 600w inverter and use the 240v charger, the issue with the 12v charger is the how long it would take to charge i would imagine.

direct from your car battery OR a Leisure battery Josh? i have a 2000w inverter and a 185ah Leisure battery, but it would be a strain to charge 2 Ebikes at the same time, and the cig lighter charger would be good for bike number 2 (y)

2000w inverter wouldnt strain at all. I think a 1000w inverter would be more than ample. With 185ah you wouldnt have much of a problem at all. If your going to spend the money buy the new rapid or fast charger from bosch.
