I have an older (3 years) Bosch CX gen 4 motor with non self-extracting cranks...I use the extractor tool.
Can I fit self extracting cranks to this motor or is there something different in the splines / centres ?
Thanks if anyone knows.

Are you thinking of upgrading to carbon cranks? Or a shorter/longer crank? I haven’t done this yet and I have the extractor tool also.

Hi Stihldog
No I have upgraded my self extracting cranks for 155 hope ones, so a straight swap.
I wanted to put these on an older Cube that I have which has non self extracting.

Thanks Clubby.....if they are they same I think the bolts are in the cranks I have taken off.

On a self extracting crank the bolt and extractor is a set...the bolts have a rounded head rather than a flat head. Whether any crank fits is down to the type of spigot. If it is an ISIS spigot that determines the bolt diameter and also the spline fitting. So..........if the cranks are designed for a ISIS spigot ( ie as per the Bosch Gen 4 motor) then the extractor bolts will fit.
