Answered Bosch battery issue

This has happened a few times now.
I charge the battery and insert into bike and it does not power on. I have to either reset it or plug it back into charger for a few seconds to get it going again.

it is not a contact issue because today when it didn’t power on I connected a charger to the bike itself for 2 seconds and that fired the battery up.

Also if I turn the power off on the display, sometimes I can’t get it to turn back on again unless I put it back into the charger for a few seconds.

Anyone else suffered odd behaviour like this from a Bosch battery?

Try unplugging the battery before switching off the charger - this should solve the first issue. It's mentioned in the manual.
Not sure about your second issue.

I agree. I had exactly the same issue. Bosch confirmed to me by email that the order of disconnection is important.
