After getting back from a 26 mile ride today, in London so mostly easy going along the Thames, I put my bike into it's stand and in the process of giving it a once over noticed when I back peddled it was really stiff and making a binding like noise, I gave it a good spray with lube and it freed up a bit, surely this isn't normal, this was the first long ride after a service, I could spin the pedals backwards with a slight tap before, now I need to push them around, very strange.

The cranks should spin freely when rotated backwards, and the drivetrain should remain static. If the drivetrain also moves then you may have a problem with your motor crank clutch bearing. This is a common problem with Brose motors. If it's still under warranty return to your dealer. I had this problem and the motor was eventually replaced, although the dealer did initially suggest applying some silicone spray into the crank seals. But if you read elsewhere on the forum this only provides a short term solution to what ultimately is a terminal problem.

Thanks @brizi2003, the drivetrain does not move thankfully, the binding freed up after applying some lube (before I read not too) Ive only done 320 miles and time wise still under warranty, I'll let the store know so we have a record of it and I'll keep an eye on it.
