I might make it to BPW on Tuesday. Supposed to be a cold day, hopefully it will remain dry!

It’s not a big issue if it rains. The trails run fine with the exception of ‘Escort’. There is a good bike wash behind the bike shop and a shower if you want to clean up before leaving.

There was a bit of controversy last year when they introduced an elevated charge for ebikes not using the uplift. Think it is £12 or £14 rather than £8 you would need to check the website to confirm prices. They also make a charge for charging batteries on the basis they are off grid and charging batteries consumes a bit of power.

Last time I went there were a number of ebikes being ridden. I rode my analogue bike, my buddy took his Haibike on the uplift.
On the uplift front, the trailers only had slots for two bikes with plus size tires. They may have changed things but could be inconvenient for a group of ebikes.

I appreciate folk may think the uplift is of no interest, bear in mind though you are only going to get up the hill a few times on an ebike.

It’s around 40 minutes to the top on an analogue bike, as I am very new to ebikes I have no idea regarding how many times you could reach the summit on a full day out without a recharge.

I know it will depend on whether you use eco, trail or turbo to get up to the summit and also your weight and how much effort you put in etc etc

Has anyone actually tried this out yet?
