Bike Getting Louder; Sounds Like PowerWheels

Had a 2018 comp carbon, got a 2019 comp a month ago. I have only put around 50 miles on it, the bike was fairly quiet until recently. It seems to have less power at full charge and is getting very loud, even on flat ground (minimal load). I have had that red bar next to a blue one happen three times, after turning the bike on. Turn it off, then back on, works fine after that. Indicates motor not found or motor error, but never saw anything in app.

My local spec dealer no longer has good management, they are all miserable. I know that there is zero chance they would replace the motor. I wouldn't put it past them to say I voided my warranty now, by putting a fox shock on (but if they had done it, no worries) lol.

I honestly passed on the YT decoy, because I saw how loud the motor was. Now, my bike is louder; the irony is quite annoying. Having 170mm front, 165mm back on a decoy would have suited me good for the local nasty back country rides I do.

Should I contact Specialized directly? I assume it depends on who you talk to, I am in the US.

I would force the LBS that you bought it from to take warranty action, if they refuses inform him that you will go directly to Specialized.
