Better way to install sprocket than this?

Checkout the pics. I can’t figure out any other way to install this wolf tooth sprocket. However, being on the left side of the spider puts the chain slightly out of alignment with the higher gears (small gears). Any thoughts?

It looks like it needs to be mounted on the outside of the spider. I'm guessing it wont fit as its a small 30T cog, though I'm surprised you'd want such short gearing on an E-MTB as I find 34T front can feel a bit short sometimes (maybe my cadence needs to speed up) though I run that 30T front on my lung powered MTB (sometimes 28T) as I need that crawler gearing for the steep climbs.
