Battery drain with latest RideControl app update

Last night I went to bed with my phone at 100% charge, and now it's down below 20%. I checked the battery stats, and the only thing running was the RideControl app with 100% background activity.

I can't see any developer-specific contact details in the app store.

Why do you need any developer specific contact details? So that they can explain to you to close the app before you go to sleep?
The RideControl app runs in the background and uses GPS and Bluetooth. Just close the app if you don’t use it.

No, I want to be able to contact them to tell them their app is draining battery.

I only started the app to check for updates. I didn't start a ride so there is NO reason for it to be still running in the background like this.
