A new fulla here...has anyone thought of doing a batt conversion from a 625w battery to the new 750w battery of bosch type...I know if your down tube has space and can allow for modification then your only issue is hopefully the software does not throw a 500 error code for slightly higher capacity. the case tube looks the same, just need to swap to the old 625 plug face. of course I do not want to buy a 2000 dollar battery to find out Bosch thought of that trick too. but if a 500w battery would work with no issue then why not a 750w? they definitely do not want you to do this upgrade but rather buy a completely new bike...I like my focus sam tank.

my understanding is that the 750 w/h battery is Bosch Smart System only, so if your existing 625w/h is powering the previous generation Bosch system a 750w/h will not work.

If the battery itself has different system I expect so...just would be capacity change.

Swapping plugs from the old five wire system to the new four wire smart system will not work as the electronics are different. Capacity wise should not be a problem on a like for like system.
I run my 625 Gen 4 motor on my old Gen 2 500 batteries without any problems.
