Just a thought and I wonder if anyone has tried it. I know the bike is designed for down, but I do have a lot of tight single track near home.
So was wondering if you left the 29" rear wheel in and moved the flip chip on the axle to the lower position whether the wheel would have enough clearance in the chainstay.
My thinking being, shorter chainstay by 20mm and actually steepen the head angle by nearly a degree to over 65 making the bike a bit more maneuverable in the tighter stuff.
Like a said, just a thought and have ordered a 27.5 wheel for this very reason, just was wondering if anyone had tried it with a 29er.
