I'm planning on mostly off-piste up to18 miles give or take, depending upon conditions.
Meet 10:30 to the right of the Cafe Veranda overlooking the field.

Forecast for the day is 2-4 degC, sunny and not raining or snowing.
Last week, despite all the previous rain the trails were dry and firm. No guarantees this time.
Note: Thu will be the last dry day forecast for two weeks.

Let me know please if you will be coming so that I know to wait (or go later if no takers).

No takers. Not unexpected for a last-minute call mid-week.
The weather was dry and sunny, blue sky etc. It felt colder than the forecast 2-4 degC. I had to put my skull cap on under my helmet (not a good look!) The trails were moist and firm, no free water. Brilliant to ride!

I spent about an hour clearing various parts of the trail. There was a tall tree 8-9" diameter that was completely blocking the trail, that took a while to shift. Quite a lot of fallen branches needed shifting but there is still a lot of clutter of the sort that gets caught in the mech. With all the bracken having died back, it looks like the brambles have put a spurt on (but do they actually do that at this time of year?)
