Don’t see too many e - bikes up here, a few mates have them but we tend to have different priorities, couple just tootle about ‘ for a bit of fresh air” my best mate likes to do longer rides in Cheviots ( the rides we did when we were 30 yrs younger) me, I kinda enjoy single track, fireroads Rothbury / Thrunton area, the odd trip over to Kielder.
Out my back door we have Enduro terrain, up and down stuff, still enjoy this, but don’t like the pain involved in rolling off ( it’s an age thing!)
Where about you from, and what’s your ride preferences?

im from morpeth i get over to thrunton quite often, kielder and hamsterly. just started ebiking and having a blast!!! wouldnt / couldnt go back to manual biking too owld and rugby injuries!!
if im honest i find thrunton a bit too technical at times really enjoy the flowing fasterpaced trails like kielder and hamsterly however if you can ride thrunton you can pretty much do most stuff.
iv seen acouple of ebikes in thrunton and they are all positive even gave a couple a shot on my bike and they loved it!

I agree with what you say about Thrunton, there are some nice trails, but most of the stuff is mega technical, and nowadays not my cup of tea...
My son loves it, but he is into Enduro events, I destroyed my ankle there 2 years ago, another reason to stay clear!
What’s the bike?
