After the GF's previously reliable Cube stereo threw a 504 error, the general consensus seemed to be get the bike to a dealer ,clear the error and update the firmware. I looked on bosch's website for a list of dealers and Race Co came up. Now I know they have a good reputation for Specialized bikes but this is a Cube 2020 bike which was brought used (not from Race Co) so I was expecting a charge to be fair.
A quick phone call to Rich and he was Like "Yeah, no problem bring it down and we'll sort it FOC". Hmm, obviously a slick dealer trick to get me in the door then BAM, " that'll be £39.95 sir"!
But No, chucked it in the car, Rich had the laptop out and after a quick wonder round the well stocked showroom it was done without charge. Well happy. Felt guilty so popped round the shop next door and brought some biccies and cakes for the guys.
Great service and nice to find a decent shop with great customer service.
