Hi all.
Been reading through for a few days, decided to register and stay on board hopefully.

Bought myself a Haibike hardseven, been riding it for a few days and totally enjoying it.

Want to do a few bits and pieces to it in the near few weeks to get it how I like it.

So far standard but want to change all contact points, maybe change the fork depending on job much is involved.

I got one as well. Fork is not great, so I put on a Recon. Had mine for 3 years, it’s had a hard life but not a single issue with the Yamaha motor and battery, apart from the battery starting to rattle about a bit lately. I just pack a piece of pipe insulation between battery and frame as a quick fix. Have fun?

@billwarwick yup the suntour is solid but super bouncy and really heavy.
I also bought a recon. How much did you pay? You went with 9mm qr or better? Same travel?
2+ years with mine, no problem so far.

Yes , 9mm and same travel. Can’t remember the price but couldn’t believe the weight difference. Good sturdy bikes?

@billwarwick Same! Weight reduction is around 1kg. Mine was -+150€. The only downside is a brutal flex of the forks when the bike is doing a stoppie .
